Westlake has an abundance of excellent holes, and I found it more interesting and challenging than the higher-ranked courses in Cape Town like Royal Cape and Steenberg. There are some superb long par 4s, among them the 18th which is a beauty on which to finish. Accurate driving is essential because you cannot afford to spray it off the tee.
