Pleasing to see that pathways for the walking golfer have been made in the waste areas between tees and fairways. A big improvement on holes 2 & 3 in particular. The par-5 fourth has been visually improved, with a major clean out of reeds and overgrowth in the two dams right of the fairway. Greens running true and fast as always. Wedgewood’s front nine is particularly strong and challenging with most greens well protected by large bunkers and runoffs. Accurate iron play into all greens is required or scoring will be difficult. Don’t be fooled by the distance on the scorecard. This course is tougher than its relative shortness suggests.
