The Links is a memorable masterpiece from the first tee box shot of whisky to the last putt of the day. Flawless presentation with minor design changes constantly under consideration. Playability continues to improve with generous landing areas off the tee. Greens complexes are among the more challenging a club golfer will play. No easy two putts. The finishing stretch from 15-18 is one of the most demanding of any SA course. The 17th, a par 3 called “Prayer,” is a favourite hole. Varied tee boxes allow for a setup to test every player. The uphill par-5 18th – “Near the Dram” – is a test of driving accuracy. The 19th is superb, with service to match.
