A wonderful experience.
The course is in magnificent condition from tee to green the attention to detail is evident , the rolling fairways have the Links feel that do offer run pending which side the mound you pitch on the grass is almost shaved lies are consistently good no placing required, the greens are undulated smooth and a delight to putt on the putts hold their line ( about 11 on the stim) and no foreign grass, the greenside swales allow you to bump and run or putt, bunker sand soft and consistent easy to play out of .
The surrounding are stunning lots of colorful flowers in and amongst the fynbos.
The two caddies we were given spent their round filling in divots and repairing pitch marks on the greens this is rear as I’ve never seen this on any other course .
The Links is worth playing and should be on everyone’s bucket list if not played before.
