I hadn’t played Stellenbosch for 24 years. The Western Cape has received record rainfall this year, however the course was still in fantastic condition. Tees, rough, fairways and bunkers were very good. The greens were spectacular, firm, fast and true. Some of the best surfaces I have played on recently. Credit must be given to the maintenance team for producing such an excellent experience. It’s a good design and I found myself excited to take on the challenge each hole presented. Friendly service from the staff with one of the best 19th hole views in South Africa.
