In superb condition as Steenberg’s continued course drainage programmes are paying off. The closing of most of their ‘waste’ bunkers, replacing them with new bunkers, has given the course a more aesthetic appeal. Steenberg is maturing into a wonderful parkland design thanks to the growth of young trees, particularly on the par-5 fifth where they are shaping the hole more and more. The overall experience is excellent.
