Eastern Cape courses are very different in character to those in the Garden Route. More natural looking in their design. Due to a windier climate they are also not as lush and green, although I found the quality of the greens at St Francis Bay equal to courses in George, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. But the fairway grass is more coarse here.
