Somerset West is a most enjoyable experience. The course is in good condition, fairways well-maintained and greens quite fast. Bunkers are small, but the sand consistent. The small teeing areas take some punishment. Several holes now have added tee options to spread the load and make the course more diverse. The renovated clubhouse provides a welcoming and modern area at which to relax.
