San Lameer currently has far and away the best quality greens on the KZN South Coast. Their paspalum greens were redone a few years back and since then have been overseeded every winter with poa trivialis to provide not only a truer putting surface but quicker than anywhere else in the area. Putting and chipping on them is like day and night compared to the other courses. What I also like about San Lameer is that the golf club has its own separate entrance away from the main gate to the estate, so access is convenient from the road. Clubhouse facilities are outstanding, and you get a superb view over the course from the outside deck of the 19th hole.
