Royal Johannesburg & Kensington (West) – David Stratton

This is my home course. West does differ from East in several respects, notably the fairway cutting (West employs a narrow strip cut), and bunkers – which had been scheduled for an upgrade but which had to be postponed. The greens had also been scheduled for an upgrade, but this too has been postponed. That said, the surfaces are good, if a little slow.
