Royal Cape has just concluded another excellent Cape Town Open. A stiff wind in the final round certainly showed up the strengths of this parkland layout, as the average score on Sunday was 73.28. The 14th showed its mettle as one of the best par 4s in the Cape, rated the most difficult hole. The excellent ninth was also a handful, while the par-3 13th was third toughest for the pros. Only three players broke 70 in the conditions.
