Despite poor tees recently levelled, resulting in lost growth in the grass, Royal Cape is in excellent condition. Whilst condition is important, Royal Cape fails to implement small but necessary improvements to the course that can be done in-house. The result is that despite the condition of the course it boxes well below its weight. This is reflected in its Top 100 ranking.
