It’s the furthest north of the KZN North Coast golf courses, but Prince’s Grant is always worth going the extra distance to play. Such a beautiful estate to visit, and boasting one of the finest looking clubhouses in the land. I never tire of the view of the scenic first and tenth holes running side-by-side away from the clubhouse. The tropical bush is a feature of a layout full of diversity and designer Peter Matkovich excelled himself here with the way he used the rolling topography to create both fabulous and unique looking holes. Prince’s Grant recently reseeded all their greens, so they were on the slow side and firm when I played the course, but quite true.
