Prince’s Grant occupies a scenic tract of land on the KZN North Coast and has several memorable holes. I found Look Down (par-3 third) and Career Best (par-5 sixth) the most enjoyable, while the finishing stretch from 15 to 18 provides a good challenge to all golfers. Unfortunately, on the day I visited the course presentation was not up to the expected standard, with poor tees and greens, particularly the 10th green. The surfaces were inconsistent and have not settled. Hopefully the course will benefit from summer rains and the overall conditioning will improve as a result.
