First played here in 2002 and then in June this year, and I was again impressed by the layout and its numerous challenges. Played three consecutive days as part of a 16-man golf tour, and for weeks afterwards the group was full of positives about this great design, our experience at Prince’s Grant, and its superb conditioning. The three closing holes, short par-4 16, par-3 17, and par-5 18, are still being talked about. What a great finishing stretch. We always felt welcomed, given plenty of assistance with our bags, the pace of play was good, and the pro shop well-stocked. Great view and service in the 19th hole overlooking the opening holes of each nine.
