Plett always enjoyable to play. The short dogleg par-4 14th remains a quirky hole, a feature of the layout, but what a pity the two formidable oak trees in the middle of the fairway had to be truncated. Their wide trunks still need to be avoided off the tee, yet the approach shot to the elevated green is now much simpler without leafy canopies blocking your path.
