Like most coastal courses Pinnacle Point is a challenge if the wind gets up. While the fairways are mostly wide, the greens are another challenge on their own. Slopes and breaks will test your putting. Fairways are nice and tight which encourages good iron play. At this time of the year the presence of whales and dolphins can distract your concentration on holes closest to the ocean. A round at Pinnacle Point in calm or testing conditions certainly soothes the soul. And few clubhouses in the world can offer such a magnificent 360-degree view of the course and the ocean!
