Pearl Valley must rank highly among the many Jack Nicklaus Signature courses worldwide. A championship quality layout with an interesting variety of holes, not a weak one among the 18. Importantly, it is fair for higher handicaps, challenging for top golfers. All the trees and foliage on the property have transformed Pearl Valley into an aesthetically pleasing estate. Houses are mostly hidden from view, and it’s a haven for wildlife with its wetlands. If there’s a flaw it might lie with some of the bunker design. Steep slopes make it difficult to access and step out of bunkers.
