Mossel Bay is blessed to have a sandy course that drains well and few golfing days were lost during the recent wet spell in the Garden Route. The last 12 months have been busy, with 52 000 rounds played. Work on the course has included expanding the various tee boxes on the first hole into one massive tee to improve the player experience. It is now closer to the starter’s hut. A new back tee at the superb par-4 third, which plays downhill towards the ocean, provides a stunning panoramic view. Two additional back tees have been built on the par-4 13th. New furniture has been acquired for the clubhouse and the halfway house area revamped. The squash courts are being extended and the club will have five courts by October.
