One of the more open bushveld courses you will find in Limpopo, missing many of the strategic trees which are a feature of the likes of Zebula and Elements. This makes it very playable off the tee and suits the longer hitters. It is a longish course, although the tee boxes are perfectly spaced out for different skills levels. Koro’s strong point is having several interestingly designed and unexpected holes, while water hazards frequently come into play. The par 3s are not to be sneezed at. If you can par them all you are a very good golfer. The fourth and seventh are each over 200 metres from the back markers, and No 7 is unusually tricky, asking golfers to clear high trees to reach the green. A weakness of the design is the lack of any short risk-reward par 4s. Even off the white club tees the shortest is 347 metres.
