Kingswood is maturing as a layout with excellent putting surfaces. The pot bunkering is some of the most extreme though, notably around No 18, a demanding par 3 with a raised green. Club golfers must find these bunkers demanding and a scorecard wrecker. Playability generally good with space off the tee on most holes. No 11 & 13 are two of the strongest par 4s, with tight landing areas and tricky approaches. General conditioning good, albeit the heat has impacted fairways. Kingswood is good value on a weekday, a quieter time when pace of play improves.
