A golfing experience bar none which ranks up there with the finest links in the world. Humewood has just come out of a belated spring programme but nevertheless is in fine condition and will improve as summer progresses. The bunkers can be tough. With the winds and fine sand they are high maintenance and develop “blowouts” under some bunker faces. Great attention to detail on the course. Three of the par 3s are of similar length but with the wind the clubbing varies greatly. All 14 clubs in the bag are needed to play this links. The links is complemented by one of the best clubhouse pubs in golf with spectacular views over the links and Algoa Bay. Enjoy a cold beer surrounded by historic memorabilia.
