The classic golf experience is alive and well at Glendower. Noticeable small touches, including a check-in desk, halfway pre-orders, and marshalling pace of play. The operations team are focused on improving the experience and service. Conditioning is excellent. Greens among the best in Gauteng with subtle breaks. Putts roll true at a good pace. Bunkers are typically less consistent than other courses but have improved. Work on the waterways is progressing and the par-5 second will be significantly better looking once done. Glendower may not defend itself well against the pros, but for the amateur it is a treat.
