The overall experience at George is one of the best in the Garden Route, and what a popular course it is too. Book well in advance to secure a tee time. Course is recovering after one of the wettest winters meant regular cutting of the fairways and rough was not possible. The greens were surprisingly firm considering how soft the rest of the course was. Unusual for a local course to have such firm greens, and you had to allow for a firm bounce which presented different challenges to the way we are used to playing approach shots. George is blessed with uniquely special golf holes, and the variety of lengths and design is exceptional. Every hole stands out individually.
