Always a pleasure to play at George except for one aspect; the course marshals are aggressive and irritating, not welcoming. Our golf group were hassled to speed up and keep up when we weren’t behind. I thought it was a one-off last year but same again this year. The fairway bunkers are not well placed. Many aren’t visible off the tee, so the framing of holes and fairways is lacking. Other than that though George is a great course. Fairways, greens and tees are very good.
