Erinvale is known for consistently having some of the best greens in the Western Cape. It is in great condition and members only play preferred lies in the wet winter months. During summer and autumn it is rare to find a bad lie. The renovated clubhouse provides an upmarket halfway and 19th to complete a golfer’s experience. Playing from the back tees is difficult and members prefer shorter versions. Playing from the front (red and blue) tees presents a different layout to that from the white, in terms of angles and distances to trouble and greens. Erinvale is a difficult walk on the hilly back nine and visitors are advised to use carts in the heat. The range has seen improvements, the short game area easier to negotiate for multiple players. There is a new fleet of golf carts.
