Visitors to East London GC, one of our premier clubs and courses, are often surprised to find no range to hit balls before a round, and a basic pro shop in the clubhouse. In fact, the range and pro shop are separate. They are together at an excellent facility on the road to Nahoon Reef. You can see it from the clubhouse, but it’s a five-minute drive to get there. Well worth it though. It’s the city’s main pro shop, owned by Piet Schutte, who offers a good selection of equipment products. I found something to my liking there! And the range is spacious with grass bays. Played on a windy day but the enjoyability factor at ELGC remains the same whatever the conditions. Such a pleasant experience on and off the course.
