Devonvale is an enjoyable course with front and back nines playing vastly differently. The front will test your patience, and wayward tee shots will not go unpunished. The back is more forgiving off the tee but lined with tall trees. Club management could do better with pace of play. It was very slow (5 hours 30) and we could not finish before dark. We teed off 45min after our time waiting for carts. Eight minutes between tee times is too short for a course where golfers walk. Some tees had two fourballs waiting. We received no apologies for this.
