A welcome change is De Zalze’s bunker refurbishment. Most of the greenside bunkers are shallower, from where you can putt on to the greens, an easier escape for most golfers. Removing a strategic mound (right of third green) and a stream (front of ninth green) has made the course more user friendly. Conditioning was superb.
