Playing a round at Woodmead is a special treat, notably for visitors who can only tee up on a Monday unless invited and accompanied by a member. One of SA’s best courses, with holes 3 to 6 and 11 to 17 being two memorable stretches of golf design. Playing here reminded me of courses in Long Island, New York.
