Bryanston is celebrating its 75th anniversary and it would be fair to say the country club has never been in better shape, offered so many different quality facilities, or more popular with its many members. I read that the club has 92 members of more than 50 years standing, quite some loyalty. And two have been there for all 75! The course remains one of the more attractive layouts in Gauteng, a superb well-conditioned test on a beautiful undulating property. Five par 4s which stand out for me as exceptional are Nos 3, 10, 12, 16 and 18. The back nine is impressive. Since 2022, members and visitors also enjoy an outstanding modern range facility close to the clubhouse, plus a Titleist fitting academy.
