Bryanston is an institution as a country club in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. The course is currently in exceptional condition, with some of the best fairways you will play in early autumn. The leaves are changing colour on the many mature trees and tee shots are running on the closely mown areas. The greens are true and present consistent surfaces. Our fourball had several birdies on the par 5s (Nos 1, 2, 15, 17) while, in contrast, the par 4s are testing, especially the seventh (stroke 4) and 10th which was playing over 450m in the club competition (stroke 1). The par-3 11th is a gem, often playing close to 190m off the club tees with water short right. You will take par and run! The new range has been well received by members and enhances the overall Bryanston experience as one of the best run member clubs in SA.
