Zebula is an enjoyable layout in its bushveld setting. The course has benefited from prolific rainfall and conditioning is very good. Tee boxes impressive, with new teeing areas created on two feature holes, 9 and 11. Zebula has narrow landing areas off the tee, starting with the demanding dogleg right opening par 4. Among the par 3s, No 8 is special over a water hazard, just 120m off the club tee to a small target with trees framing the back of the green. In contrast, the par-3 17th can play as long as 219m from the back. With water guarding the left side of the green, it was the toughest hole for the pros at the SDC Open in January. No 18 is a risk-reward 5, its green guarded by water and sand. Many tournaments at Zebula are decided here. The overall offering at Zebula is excellent. Great service and a well stocked pro shop. Upgrades underway to enhance the halfway house and 19th hole.
