A good all round experience finished off with one of the best 19th holes in the Cape. Steenberg’s past water issues seem to be mostly over with an upcoming project to increase the size of the dam on the par-5 fifth which should improve both quantity and supply. The poa eradication project on the par 3s has been successful. Greens were 11 on the stimp, consistent and firm. Surrounds and run-off areas in excellent condition, assisting those who prefer to putt from off the green. Bunkers well groomed and the sand consistent in colour and playability.
