Simola is in great shape, the greens offering a true and pacy roll. Ongoing projects have enhanced its playability. New bunkers on 12 are settling in, adding a fresh challenge to an enjoyable par 5. Additional bunker projects are underway on the back nine, ensuring the course continues to evolve. Stunning views of the Knysna Lagoon, forests, and mountains are a memorable backdrop as you navigate the course. The finishing stretch from 14 to 18 is fabulous. These varied holes challenge with their mix of risk and reward. No 17 is a scenic and well-designed short 3. Don’t let its length fool you. A green guarded by water and sand can be nerve-wracking at the end of a round. Simola has a variety of doglegs, elevation changes, and strategically placed cross bunkers.
