The landscape on which Simola is built takes my breath away each time I visit. The course includes a few of my favourite holes, including the majestic par-4 second with its elevated tee-shot. The par-3 14th reminds me of some of the classic courses on the east coast of the USA with massive trees surrounding the hole from tee to green. The five 3s each have their own charm and challenge. Simola was in great condition and the greens running beautifully. You have to be a good bunker player here as they are abundant and well positioned. Being such an interesting layout means you should never get bored playing it. Facilities and service are excellent.
