San Lameer offers a resort style layout that blends golf with nature. Situated within a secure eco estate, the course winds through lush coastal vegetation with water features on many holes. The layout itself is strategic rather than long. Accurate tee shots are rewarded, while anything offline can find indigenous bush or water. The downhill sixth hole (par 4) from the back tee stood out for me. The course offers an excellent blend of challenge and playability, and a must play when visiting the South Coast.
