Wet weather has been unkind to the two Randpark courses. Bushwillow has taken the brunt of the rain, which means Firethorn has had to take most of the rounds and all that traffic shows. Greens bumpy and uneven with brown patches. Not sure if the club has been drying them intentionally but it’s now working. Tee boxes, especially par 3s, suffering often because moving the tees seems that much harder. Rough could do with a massive trim as missing the fairway by a metre could induce a hernia. With autumn leaves dropping the course is starting to look untidy and unkempt. Fairways look stunning though.
