A challenging layout with good design variety. Conditioning much improved compared to previous visits; greens superb prior to club champs. The complexes offer good shaping and gentle slopes. Scoring opportunities come on the 5s, reachable in two off the club tees. The second plays alongside the Klein Jukskei River and is played as a 4 in tournaments. The finishing stretch from 16-18 is a special part of the course, 16 a demanding 4, 17 a strong 3, and the finishing 4 across the river one of Gauteng’s best. Randpark has an excellent new pro shop. Upgrades to the clubhouse make for a great 19th. Good to see the overall care and attention to detail returning.
