Great use is made of the undulating terrain to present golfers with enjoyable elevated tee shots that are seldom matched elsewhere in SA. It begins with the opening par 4, and continues at No 3, the downhill par 3 where you put trust in your club selection and hope your ball carries the water hazard as it descends to a thin sliver of green. No 4 is reasonably elevated while No 6 is magnificent in the height you attain. From the back tee you can see over the tops of tall trees to the distant ninth fairway. No 7 has slight yet significant elevation, as does No 10, while No 12 again presents a high view of the short par 4 below you, its fairway framed by sand on both sides. No 15 is one of the highest tees of any course in SA in relation to the distant fairway and offers one of the great coastal views in golf. Even on flatter holes the tees have been raised so that golfers have a good view of the target areas.
