Milnerton will always be one of the most memorable rounds you will play in Cape Town due to its location on the ocean and the stunning views of Table Mountain and the city. It offers a good mix of short, long, easy and difficult holes, and is in good condition especially the greens, although on this occasion they were a little long which can be expected with the windy weather. Recent course improvements have been welcome, especially fixing holes like the iconic par-4 second where the erosion from the sea is getting nearer to the green. On the tough par-4 12th bush has been removed from the driving area on the right. This not only showcases Table Mountain more but offers extra space for a faded drive. Changes too at 18, one of the Cape’s toughest and best finishing par 4s.
