Impressed by how much variation there is here between holes. And a surprising amount of elevation changes. The front nine started off exceptionally well, but the uphill dogleg right sixth was a funny design and the longer hitters with me were taking audacious short cuts over the trees on the corner of the dogleg. The downhill seventh was good for a blind tee shot, but 8 and 9 were unremarkable. The back nine though was pleasant with several fun holes. Water hazards frequently come into play, and the two par 3s (11 & 17) were attractive holes. The par 4s on this side were all excellent and an interesting mix. I wouldn’t rate the four par 5s though more than average. Two of them involved uphill approach shots where you couldn’t see the green.
