I have to compliment De Zalze on the overall experience and not just the golf course. I stayed in one of the Winelands Golf Lodges which I can recommend. Winter specials will soon be advertised. There is a strong customer service culture here, and a friendly and helpful vibe around the clubhouse. The course is a treat to play. Excellent balance between challenging holes, and playable for most. My favourite holes were the par 3s (3-9-12-16) and the flagship risk-reward par-4 13th. The course had just had its annual hollow-tining, but was still in great overall condition bar slower greens which will soon improve. The rest of the course looked immaculate.
