Surprisingly challenging for a resort course, but an enjoyable experience offering such beautiful views. Greens were interesting with their shapes and slopes. The back nine was special, one good hole following another to a splendid climax at 18. Some of the bunkers, and they are quite numerous and superbly placed to catch the slightest mishit, were not maintained. Perhaps this is due to there being no rakes handily alongside them. Instead, each golf cart has a rake at the back, between the golf bags, and I can see that it’s easy to forget to bring it along with you when you walk from the cart to play a bunker shot. And then we happened to leave it next to a bunker somewhere, so were without a rake for the last few holes.
