Blair Atholl has received a ton of accolades about the course and its condition. One of my favourite features is the halfway on the banks of the Crocodile River. One of the most beautiful spots on the course and an opportunity to rest before the final 10 holes, the hardest on the course which will challenge any scratch golfer. What I also value about Blair Atholl is the club’s willingness to listen to golfers. Initially the difference in length between the course’s silver and bronze tees meant the average golfer found the bronze too short and silver too long. The silver tees were adjusted allowing for a fair contest, though the length of the last three par 4s will test even the long hitter.
