Blair Atholl’s facilities continue to maintain a high standard of excellence — from the estate security entrance to the meet and greet at the clubhouse entrance by polite and helpful staff. The golfing experience cannot be faulted, and this is a bucket list venue. A worthy legacy of Gary Player’s course design and historical influence in Blair Atholl’s development is that he continues to improve and tweak the layout with subtle changes. As testament to the challenge, golfers should be aware that playing from the Black, Gold and Silver tees will add several shots from their handicap index to their course handicap. Note that a scratch or zero index will garner a playing handicap of 7 from the Black tees!
